From Siege to Ceasefire: Alkhidmat Way Forward to Rebuild Gaza
On October 7, 2023, Gaza faced an unprecedented humanitarian crisis, leaving over 2.2 million Palestinians in unimaginable suffering. Homes were reduced to rubble, schools destroyed, mosques desecrated, and water systems annihilated. Hunger and thirst plagued families, while thousands of children were orphaned, their future engulfed in despair. This 15-month siege defined a dark chapter in Gaza’s history, marked by devastation and hardship.
Our Response: A Beacon of Hope During the Crisis
During this tragedy, Alkhidmat Foundation led one of the largest humanitarian aid operations for Gaza. Over 15 months, we delivered 3,250 tons of critical relief goods and medical supplies worth PKR 5.5 billion. Using chartered airplanes, cargo ships, and border crossings via Egypt, Jordan, and the Rafah border, we reached over 2.2 million displaced Palestinians. Food, water, medicine, and essential supplies became lifelines for those in dire need, restoring dignity and hope to shattered lives.

- Build a Residential Tower: Provide permanent shelter for displaced families
- Rebuild a Hospital: Restore healthcare services for the wounded and ill.
- Reconstruct 5 Schools: Enable children to return to education.
- Rebuild 25 Mosques: Revive places of Namaz and Quran learning
- Implement 100 Clean Water Projects: Ensure safe drinking water access
- Support 3,000 Orphans: Offer care, education, and stability.
