In Pakistan, over 97 million people live below the poverty line, and more than 20 million are homeless. For them, winter is not simply a season – it’s a life-threatening ordeal. Families without shelter and basic resources endure extreme discomfort and health challenges. Children, the elderly, and those with existing health conditions are especially vulnerable. Each year, many lives are tragically lost to cold-related illnesses that could have been prevented with timely assistance.
Without essential winter supply, they face harsh weather with little relief, putting their health and lives at serious risk.
Our Impact Last Winter
Last winter, thanks to the generous support of our donors, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan provided warmth and relief to 95,611 families. From essential winter clothing to blankets and clothing, our winter packs offered these families a measure of comfort and protection against the freezing temperatures. This was only possible through the collective goodwill of people like you.
