Empowering Individuals Through Access to Quality Learning
Alkhidmat Education Program
Education plays a transformative role in shaping lives, yet Pakistan faces significant challenges in this regard. With a literacy rate of only 56%, nearly half the population remains illiterate, and an estimated 22 million children—most of them girls—are out of school.
Alkhidmat Foundation Sindh firmly believes that every child deserves access to quality education, proper nourishment, and holistic grooming. Despite limited resources, we are making meaningful contributions to the future of young students.
Through our Alkhidmat Academic Scholarship Program, we support brilliant but underprivileged students at college and university levels. Additionally, our Child Protection Centers and Skills Development Centers, in collaboration with the Child Protection and Rehabilitation Trust (CPRT), are inspiring out-of-school children to re-engage with education and return to school.
In the remote Tharparkar district, we have established 21 Chonra Schools (traditional desert huts), providing free primary education to over 850 children. These schools ensure that even the most marginalized communities can access quality learning opportunities, fostering hope and progress where it is needed most.
